Sizing

Our collars are custom made to neck measurement you provide. Each one is made around a form in your measurement to ensure it looks, sits, and fits like it was made just for you!

Chain closing collars measure roughly 2-3″ smaller than the neck measurement you provide. This creates the gap between the rings for the chain. 

We include a generous amount of chain, which allows the lock/ring to hang lower than the collar itself. If you prefer a shorter chain, extra links can be removed with needle nose pliers or metal snippers.

Materials

Biothane – Beta 520 Super Heavy Biothane

Fasteners/Screws – We only use Chicago screws, which are a stronger, more secure fastener than other options such as double cap rivets.  Black Powder Coated Brass, Nickel Plated Brass, Solid Brass, or Stainless Steel screws are available.

These high-quality screws not only extend the life of your item, they can also be removed to repair your product if needed. We initially secure each screw with a drill, but it is important to periodically check and tighten screws on your item. It is possible for them to loosen over time and use.

**Some hardware, chain, center ring, and clasp options contain nickel. Any option known to contain nickel is labeled with ‘Nickel’ in the photos & drop down menus.**
