Slip Collars are a type of collar designed as a loop, but this one is a little different! It clips around the neck, instead of sliding over the head; perfect for dogs with a big difference in head and neck measurement. Even better, it acts as two collars in one. When you attach the clip to the set ring at the end, it acts as a general collar and sits at a set size, not able to tighten on its own. When in use, you connect it to the floating ring and it becomes a slip collar.
You can pair it with any clip leash by connecting the clip to the empty ring on the slip collar.
Want limited movement? Add a stopper! You can add a stopper before the floating ring to limit how tight the collar will go, making it a limited slip collar. You can also add a stopper after the floating ring to limit how loose the collar will go when in use. Alternatively, you can add both!
Sizing
Convertible slip collars are measured by the length from the clip to the point the weave starts before the ring, so it will sit properly while in use. To ensure proper maximum size when a stopper is added, we measure it from the clip to the inner side of the stopper when the stopper is placed at maximum size. It is important to consider that Biothane does not stretch when providing measurements.
See measurement guide in photos for instructions to measure your dog’s neck.
Design
Collar has one weave at the clip and one at the set ring on the other end, with one screw on each end. A floating ring is installed between each end.

Biothane – 1/2″ wide, Beta 520 Super Heavy Biothane
Rings – We only use welded or die cast rings for maximum durability. You’ll customize the slip collar with your choice of Nickel Plated Steel, Black Powder Coated Steel, Solid Brass, or Stainless Steel rings.
Chicago Screws – We only use Chicago screws, which are a stronger, more secure fastener than other options such as double cap rivets. Black Powder Coated Brass, Nickel Plated Brass, Solid Brass, or Stainless Steel screws are available. These high quality screws not only extend the life of your item, they can also be removed to repair your product if needed.
